Rockdale House in Sevenoaks provides excellent care for the residents in our 50 bed care home, set in beautiful surroundings and located in the centre of Sevenoaks it is highly regarded by the community.
Rockdale is going through an exciting period of change, and we are growing our services to respond to the needs of our customers. We are looking for an ambitious nurses to join our great team whilst we roll out a new nursing service in our friendly and welcoming care home.
The successful candidates will be excited at the prospect of this additional investment in our care home and will be motivated by this new service offer at Rockdale.
Our Nurses will be responsible for ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care and provide residents with a home for life.
You will be ensuring that clinical standards are met in Rockdale House. You will be passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.
For this role, successful candidates will:
- Be a registered nurse with a valid NMC Pin
- Have previous Health & Social Care experience
- Have previous Nursing experience
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Have strong and effective communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative, solve problems and develop staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24 an hour.
Expected hours: 36 per week

Resident Support Worker
Job description
Rockdale House in Sevenoaks provides excellent care for the residents in our 50 bed care home, set in beautiful surroundings and located in the centre of Sevenoaks it is highly regarded by the community.
We are looking for dedicated care staff who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, your day to day tasks will include helping residents with social activities, answering call bells, completing care plans and assisting with dressing and personal care.
For this role, successful candidates will have:
- Excellent communication skills and be a great team player
- A good understanding of person centred care
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- The ability to make responsible decisions that are always in the resident’s best interest
- An NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential, however you should be willing to get further training if needed
Hours of work: Full time shifts including weekends over the following shift patterns: early 7.30am-2.30pm or late 1.30pm-9.00pm.
