Kent County Council’s EMPOWERCARE Project

Colleagues from Kent County Council’s EMPOWERCARE Project attended Rockdale on 17th August to hold a free digital skills session for our Supported Independent Living Residents.

The session included an overview of the project and digital ambassador scheme along with an opportunity to trial different devices – Samsung tablets, Alexa and Google Home, and a bring your own device with questions and answers about devices and technical issues.

The session was extremely well received by residents and we will be organising more workshops with the KCC EMPOWERCARE team.
